La Marzocco

Founded in 1927 by Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, La Marzocco had its beginnings in Florence, Italy. La Marzocco has earned a world renown reputation for making beautiful, high quality, superbly crafted and uniquely designed espresso machines, with great attention to detail. Linea BP

Designed by and named in recognition of Piero Bambi, the Linea PB was launched in the USA and London in the Spring of 2013.Visually the machine received a face-lift but retains its boxy, retro feel from the rear, but from the business end looks super modern, with an amber digital display, red button illumination and red pressure gauge. Reminiscent of the Linea Classic, the Linea PB features flexible, user-friendly, exclusive proprietary, interface software and related hardware ideated by La Marzocco. The Linea PB was the first update for the Linea line in almost 25 years and appropriately named after Linea’s head designer, Piero Bambi. This update features new electronics and improved component longevity for a sleek look that grants the barista additional control through the machine’s interface. 

La Marzocco has spent the better part of a decade bringing this technology to market in a reliable way. With scales integrated into the drip trays of the Linea PB ABR, the machine is capable of tracking shots by weight. Additionally, the machine can track the amount of ground coffee in the portafilter, and adjust the output for each shot, allowing for much more consistency than ever before. Shot defects are significantly mitigated when the exact brew ratio is followed, and the Linea PB ABR does it automatically.

  • Quality: With a brand new control system, giving the barista total control over volumes, boiler temperatures, even the hot water does.The Linea classic has stood the test of time, becoming the industry standard for over two decades. But in the PB, La Marzocco have created the Rolls Royce of espresso machines and became the leading choice for cafes all over the world. 
  • Volume: The Linea PB sets the standards by which all other professional espresso machines are judged.  ensuring a new level of performance and reliability the Linea PB is a must have for any office cafe with populations between 100 to 300 people.
  • Maintenance: Backflushing of the groups will be performed by the barista daily, and replacement of gaskets, group screens, and water filtration, as well as a steam wand rebuild will be performed every 6 months.
